#8 - Belize Parasail Plus Island Adventures
We, at Belize Parasail Plus, believe in following the principles of sustainable tourism. Meaning we work to minimize the impact on the environment and local culture while contributing to generating income and employment for the local population. We walk a pathway to manage all resources so that economic, social, and aesthetic needs can be met while respecting cultural integrity, essential ecological processes, biological diversity, and life-sustaining systems.
As PADI professionals we believe in safety and respect–as a part of Belize Parasail Plus, we believe in designing a dive experience around your preferences. Safety is first and foremost in everything we do from pre-dive checks to instruction to planning the scuba dive and diving plan; we believe no detail is too small. We respect you as an individual, regardless of your experience level, and will work to pair you with divers at a comparable level. We respect the ocean, the reef, and each living creature we encounter; we will not harass the wildlife. We are divers, we have probably seen and experienced some of the same negative things you have–we promise to try harder and be better humans.
We believe in upfront, all-inclusive pricing. The price we quote is the price you get; we will not charge extra for gear rental or park fees and tax is included.
#9 - Neptune's Cove
#10 - Ramon's Village Resort
Ramon’s Village Divers is conveniently located on the resort's private jetty, just steps from your accommodation and the white sand beach.
The variety of diving within minute’s access is astounding, including local coral gardens, Hol Chan Marine Reserve, Shark Alley, M&M Caverns, night diving or the mysterious Blue Hole. M&M Caverns winds its way from the resort’s dock through a series of tunnels and caverns and past huge coral mountains spurting right out of the sandy bottoms. Due to the relative depths just meters from these protected shallows, it’s a great place to spot pelagic cruising the reef. Also in the area are numerous shark, turtle and ray species, plus barracuda, moray eels, groupers and smaller creatures like triplefin blennies. Get lucky and you’ll have a magical encounter with a dugong or two- something you will remember for a lifetime!
As a PADI 5* IDC Center, you are in safe hands with Ramon’s Village Divers whether you are trying diving for the first time, or embarking on pro level training. Since the late 80’s the shop has been managed by Rick Sutherland, who take’s utmost care in selecting the best of the best staff that Belize and the international community has to offer. Step aboard any of the 4 spacious dive vessels moored on the dock, and look forward to the comfortable 5-15 minute journey to your dive site. Trips depart at 9:00am, 11:30am and 2:00pm, and due to the closeness of the dive sites, the boat returns to the dock between dives. This means you can pick and choose a dive schedule that works for you! If you want to bring your own gear then do so- you can store it in the purpose built storage facility. If not, the dive shop owns a large selection of high quality, well maintained equipment for rental.
