Dahab was once an isolated coastal village inhabited only by the local Bedouin. Dahab's isolated location, idyllic setting and laid-back atmosphere make it a favorite destination for all who discover it.

Located approximately 80 km north of Sharm el Sheikh, today’s Dahab has evolved into an "alternative resort" – the home of independent and adventurous travellers, but also with some more up market resorts and hotels. Established in 2000, Black Rock Dive Centre is a fully accredited PADI 5-star Intructor Development Centre (IDC).

Sea Dancer is a family run business and offers a true feeling of being part of a family. Many of our staff have been with us for many years (even decades!) and all new staff are taught the ‘Sea Dancer way’ of doing things! Furthermore, we have the best possible location, right on the beach front in the middle of Dahab Bay with some fantastic diving just a few meters from our door.

Scuba Seekers was born to introduce people to the world of diving in a safe, fun and educational way. We believe that diving should be a lot of fun, but that teaching people to be good divers isn’t something that should be rushed. Dive training takes the time it takes and education about the underwater environment is just as important as learning about the equipment and skills.

At Scuba Seekers every member of our dive team shares the same vision – We want to become the pioneers of quality diving, environmentally friendly and life changing underwater experiences in the Red Sea.

We strive to serve our customers with the most technically secure equipment and with a highly talented and professional team. Our guides and instructors aim to deliver  life-changing diving experiences, while preserving and developing our local Red Sea environment.

We want every one of our students to leave us as a happy, skilled, knowledgeable and, above all, safe diver.

As well as diver training, we also offer guided dives, where we explore all the sub aquatic adventures, that Dahab has to offer and regularly run diving safari trips, catering to divers of all levels.

If you are an instructor or dive club, and want to bring your groups to Dahab, we can offer our facilities and help with logistics, accommodation, equipment and whatever else you need.

Once you check in at Dahab Divers Lodge you will get an orientation briefing of Dahab and the Dive Center facilities. The sitting area under a wooden shade with ceiling fans, surrounded by some beautiful plants invites the divers to stay, chill out and have some good laughs and conversations after a great day diving. Another opportunity to relax, write your logbook or study some dive theory, is the Bedouin seating area in front of the small kitchen.

We limit the amount of divers to a maximum of six per dive-guide and we make sure that everyone in the group has about the same level of dive experience.

Our facilities provide new and well maintained dive equipment and gets serviced regularly, just like our on site BAUER compressor.

A big rinsing pool with separate pools for booties and regulators as well as lockers and hangers for your dive gear are provided. Furthermore we offer a 24 hour security service.

The spacious classroom for the dive theory sessions is equipped with fan, TV and dvd player, PADI materials and a whiteboard.

The experienced dive team at Dahab Divers Lodge is not only FUN and knowledgeable but considering safety first, all our dive staff are medic first aid trained. We are also extremely approachable for any questions or requests, diving- or non-diving related, to make sure your Dahab holiday is just what you were looking for.

The location close to the Lighthouse allows us to kit up in the Dive Center, load the gear on a trolly and in no time we can descent and enjoy the stunning marine life of the Lighthouse Reef. This is especially comfortable if you have not been diving for a while and need a Scuba Review, or if you are participating in a PADI entry level course, as there is a perfect confined area to learn or refresh your diving skills in a safe environment with pool like conditions.

Also non- divers are welcome to join us on a day out to just chill out in the sun in one of the laid back Bedouin Restaurants. If you are interested in snorkeling you will certainly get a separate briefing from our dive professional and also some advice on techniques and where to find the most interesting marine life.

We at Dahab Divers Lodge are passionate about diving and the underwater world and want to share this passion with our guests. We are aiming at educating our divers to become the advocates of this beautiful and fragile environment. We encourage safe diving techniques, responsible behavior, awareness and sustainability in and out of the water. We frequently organize beach and underwater clean ups inspired by PADIs Project A.W.A.R.E (Aquatic World Awareness Responsibility and Education).

Desert Divers is Dahab’s main center for diving & desert adventures in the Sinai.

It is a PADI 5* Dive Resort and Freediving Center, home of the Camel Diving Safari, Deep Desert Safaris and rock climbing in the Sinai. This is a great choice for anyone looking to keep busy on their dive vacation!

The center has well-maintained equipment and access to a range of excellent dive sites right off the shore.

Dive Urge is committed to a responsible ethos with its diver and fish friendly 4-1 ratios. This means whether you are on a course or doing guided dives we provide a PADI Instructor for every 4 divers; thus reducing the impact on the environment as well as enhancing your dive holiday experience.

Dahab is a place of great beauty both above and below water, with the bare mountains making a dramatic backdrop to the teeming life just under the surface. Dahab is the closest warm water diving to the UK, all the dives are shore based, which makes the pace easier and allows for non diving partners to also enjoy their holidays too.

We have 4 garden rooms, 2 sea view twins and 2 sea view suites set in the grounds of Dive Urge and catered for by our in-house restaurant Food Urge. Dive Urge is 5 or ten minutes walk (depending on Dahab or UK speed) from the main bay, but far away enough to see the stars and enjoy the stars and peace.
