The Place was a quarry long time ago, now is part of the Marine protected Area of Punta Campanella, there is 2 anchors in a rocky bottom, easy ti find some rock from the eruption of the Vulcano Vesuvio, at night its easy to se lot of Pyrosomas.
Marine life is abundant, but yet in a hi risk because the abusive fishing, yet, is and extraordinary place to dive for first level and also advanced level for bight dives. The type of dive that I recommend to do are 2, one at south west and the other the fantastic wall at not west from land. Dive operator don't need a boat, there is great place to dive from the shore.
This are for part of the "Marine protected area of punta Campanella", it's part of the comune di Massa Lubrense. In this particular area the depth is about 10 meters to 16 going around the coast, the good thing about that is the long dives that you can do if you are good in air.
Turtle head is also known as Conca Azurra Massa Lubrense.
