#1 - Lobos
Mexico, Southern Gulf of Mexico, Veracruz
It is a very small island frequented by divers in Mexico City and surrounding area divers. Once passed the red tape -done by the shop- you are on to a very memorable dive.
If travelling to Lobos, consider taking a small present -bottle of licor- to the lighthouse keepers. They will be very appreciative, though they will not show it right off hand.
Island near Tuxpan and Tamiahua Veracruz... only reachable with a special permission by PEMEX -Mexican Petroleum Company. Permission is usually granted to certified dive shops.
