Visibility is often better deeper than 8-10 metres. There are plenty of rocks with lobsters and other marine life. often you encounter schools of fish here, and occasionally a wolffish on a ledge. The vertical rock walls have some very nice anemones and other soft corals.
Starting at the point you can dove dive both sides, though the east side tends to be better for marine life. If you go shallow (12-20) you can start a bit on the "inside" go around the point and finish on the east side without problems.
