Top Snorkeling and Scuba Diving in Northern Mindanao

Dark sand terraces with great soft corals. The hot spring is not underwater but located on the shoreline. Since landsides on shoreline lots of rocks, now only to reach with boat. Hot water is coming out of the sandy bottom in shallow water. Naasag, on the west coast, near the old volcano.

Reef slope down to 30m deep. Black corals, large sponges, mantas (in season), frog fish, Hawkbill turtles... East side of Jigdup reef. Jigdup Reef is also known as Jigdup Slope.

Soft and hard corals, sea snakes,mandarin fish at night fall. Northeast side of Camiguins island.

Small caves and short walls. Rabbit fishes, Turtles, barracudas... This is a fish sanctuary and there are schools of many species. Good place to do snorkeling too. East side of Camiguin island. Approx 30 min. by boat from Barangay San Roque, Municipality of Mahinog (nearest point). Mantigue Island is also known as Magsaysay Island.

There are gorgons on this dive site with pygmy seahorses and nice canyons to visit with the usual Philippines fauna.

This is a slope with recent concrete armatures to help the creation of an artificial reef. Usual Philippines species can be found here.

In Duka Bay Port, you start the dive on the slope est of the Pier. You move west toward the pier and finish the dive under the pier. The slope is a muck dive and the pier is enriched with corals, sponges and many frog fishes.

This is a muck dive where pegasus and ghost pipe fish can be easely seen.

This dive site is a black sand slope down to 30m with lot of black corals and a sunken ponto bridge. Life is rich and varied there.

This gentle slope is interesting as a night dive. It is a very easy spot to dive.

Its an easy dive site.Drop down between different big rocks on the sandy bottom in about 4 meters.You can follow the rocks to the east and swim through. slowly going deeper and follow small reef side then if you like to decent until 30 meters there are again big rocks and some big fishes. Almost every dive turtle passing by. Ascend to the shallow part like a sandy platform going back between the rocks in to end the dive in shallow water.

It's a boulder outcropping from a sandy bottom with a lot of marine life. The spot is right in front of Mantangale Dive Resort in North Mindanao, Balingoan/Camiguin area.
