Diving is considered the number one method of exploring the wonders of the underwater world. Divers use air from a tank or cylinder on their back for a significantly longer stay than with breathing-apnea techniques, as used in snorkeling and free immersion; and also has more freedom of movement than snuba. It is also one of the fastest growing industries, attracting millions of people every year. What all divers enjoy about this hobby is the feeling of adventure and the variety of colorful corals and other marine life. Diving today has become safer and easier. Certification will be required, but in many places a little introduction can show wonders at 5 or 10 metres/15 or 33 feet. Many couples, families, children eight and older, and seniors have already enjoyed scuba diving.
