Pelagic Divers Fuvahmulah

We are located in the Southern Hemisphere of Maldives, on a one island atoll. Fuvahmulah is an incredibly unique geographical island with an endless sea of pelagic life and home to a healthy population of resident tiger sharks. 

Led by owner and instructor, Ahmed Inah, a native of Fuvahmulah, we are a 100% Maldivian owned dive center with a team of all local guides. Our team’s shared experiences and diving principles not only makes us colleagues but also a cohesive diving family.

We focus on small quality dives with a guide to guest ratio of 1:4 and a maximum of 12 guests per boat. All our instructors and guides are trained by shark diving safety professionals, Ocean Ramsey and Juan Sharks. This ensures a safer and more personal shark diving in Maldives for our guests. 

To share our passion and advocacy for shark awareness and education, we are the only dive center to offer a PADI Speciality Course - Fuvahmulah Tiger Shark Diver. This introductory course allows divers to understand the basics of a shark safety diver.

Fuvahmulah has been listed as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 2020. The island has some of the best dive sites in Maldives, due to the unique geography of the island, with opportunities to potentially dive with seven types of rare sharks. Fuvahmulah also has one of the healthiest coral reefs in Maldives, with over 100% coverage, results from a baseline coral reef research we funded in December 2021.

As such, we are committed to the sustainability and conservation of the island, surrounding ocean and its marine life. Together with our non-profit organization @naturefriendsofmaldives, and in collaboration with @oneoceandiving @oceanramsey @juanshark, we aim to create a more sustainable environment in Fuvahmulah with our water filter project and tiger shark ID.
