About Us

Scuba Shack has been serving central Connecticut and beyond since 1977! We are a PADI Five Star Dive Center offering PADI certifications for beginners to Instructors and everything in between! Scuba Shack has plenty of opportunities to continue your dive education!

Our Confined Water Training Classes are taught exclusively in back-inflation BCDs. 

We are authorized dealers for Akona, Apeks, Aqua Lung, DUI, Genesis, Halcyon, Henderson, Ikelite,  Pinnacle, Shearwater, Sherwood, Suunto, Trident and more. And we service what we sell! Come check out our showroom!

Looking for some Travel Opportunities? We run several dive trips to warm water destinations every year. We also travel to cooler "drysuit needed" locations for those who want to further their their drysuit and technical diving experience!

Take Exit 23 (West Rd) off of I-95. Head west on West Rd. Turn left on to Rt 3, continue for 1.5 miles, past Fair Weather Acres.  Turn left into the Shunpike Business Center. Scuba Shack is located around the back of the first building on your left!
