Al Boom Diving - Le Meridien Al Aqah

Al Boom Diving is the recreational diving business of Al Boom Marine. Founded in Kuwait in 1987 by two dive instructors, Al Boom Marine first opened in the UAE in 1990. Al Boom Diving was established in 1996, as it was increasingly becoming clear that the country had an ever-growing need for a reputable, professional dive operator. In 2002, as the business continued to grow, Simon Tambling came on board as the managing partner for the business. With a history in commercial diving and more recently in managing large sports and lifestyle brands for Al Boom Marine, Tambling quickly created a strong partnership with Aqua Lung. Al Boom Diving was privileged to become their distributor for the Middle East, leading to the acquisition of an 8000square foot warehouse in 2008 in Dubai Investment Park.
