We were on Moorea at the Sofitel Ia Ora & had a wonderful time snorkeling in shallow, clear, warm, calm water right at the resort.  It was much better than anything we have done in the Caribbean.  Margaret Behme

Excellent snorkeling site.  Shallow, sandy, with coral mounds, giant morays, several types of stingrays, large number and types of fish.
