Los frailes

Very good dive site and very close from shore. Surrounding volcanic rock pinnacles covered with bright-colored sponges, stony corals and starfish give it its name. Depths reach 100feet and visibility ranges from 50 to 100 feet. "Los Frailes" or "The Friars" lies about 10 minutes from the mainland in the open ocean. The dive site is located near 3 rock outcroppings in open ocean almost straigh out (1 mile) from the La Boquita area of Santiago Bay. Los frailes is also known as Friars.
