Two large rocks. Bottom made of boulders full of corynactis anemons.

Just in front of the beach named Les Vieilles, southeast of Yeu Isalnd.

This is a old broken wreck. The best is to dive before summer cos the seaweeds grows and it's difficult to see the wreck.

The wheel is on the south side, not far from the rocks nearby. The prow is completely destroy, just near the cliff.

Take care !!! There are some detonnator on the wreck.

On the south coast. In front of la Coube de Basse-Grêle (50m from the coast).

Yusenquashia Maru is also known as Le Japonais.

A large small wall running south to north between the two rocks. A sandy area on the southwest side.
The north rock is better than the south one, including more marine life.

Rocks located in the Sabias bay, in front of the old castle. This is on the south side of Yeu Island.

The Sequana was built in Belfast in 1898.
This cargo left Dakar to Bordeaux with 665 pax.  It was torpedoed june 8th 1917 at 2:00 AM by the UC-72 german U-Boat submarine. 207 people died.

The John G Mc Cullough sunk may 18th, 1918 (torpeadoed by the U-74 german submarine). There is a transatlantic cable that cross the wreck in the middle.

The Ponton Bigue was a catamaran made for transatlantic cable repair. Vessel size is 38 m x 18 m.

Approx 12 nautical miles southeast of Yeu Island.

The Angelo Patagonian was built in 1910 in England (Short Brothers Ltd, Sunderland). It was a 124m vessel, and was sunk by the UC-72 (german U-Boat submarine) july 11th, 1917.

17.5 miles W off the Sables d'Olonne.

The U 976 was a 67 m long German submarine (type VIIC). It sunk march 25th, 1944.

16 miles northwest of Yeu Island.

This 85m long greman steamer was torpeadoed august 4th, 1917.

7.5 miles W of Noirmoutier island.

The Cairnstrath wreck

The Ville de Rochefort was sunk in 1933, hit by a british vessel. This cargo is 90m long. Two large anchors at the bow, a spare wheel on the front deck.

13.5 miles south of Pornichet, West of the tip of Noirmoutier Island.

Le Ville de Rochefort is also known as Ville de Buenos Aires.

L'Afrique est un paquebot appartenant à la ligne maritime des Chargeurs réunis ; construit en 1907, il fera sa traversée inaugurale le 22 juillet 1908. Il avait pour mission de rallier les différents ports de l'Afrique française (AOF et AEF).
Il sombrera aux premières heures de la journée du 12 janvier 1920, par gros temps, aux abords nord-est du plateau de Rochebonne à moins de 23 milles (42 km) des Sables-d'Olonne (Vendée, France) avec à son bord 602 personnes (34 rescapés
