Chickens Rock

Located in the strong currents of Calf Sound, the 6563 ton Clan MacMaster struck the rocks on a foggy night in September 1923. Colourful broken wreckage, with a chance of seals coming to play.

Isle of Man. Use echo sounder and GPS to locate, no visible reference.

Clan MacMaster is also known as The Clan MacMaster, Isle of Man.

Clan MacMaster

Started at one end of the sound, at the isthmus between the Calf of Man and the main Isle of Man. The broken wreck of the Clan McMaster lays at 15m deep.
Drift is 3-4 Knots of tide!

The Burroo Ned is located between Calf Sound and the Sugarloaf.

Great caves with friendly seals!

Southern side of the island; 1.5 nautical mile south of Port St Mary. Caves are behind the Sugarloaf rock.

The Sugarloaf Caves is also known as Cave of the Birds.

Southwest of the island. Close to Port Erin. Enter the water at the jetty steps (near the RNLI station).

Crab Row is also known as Outer Breakwater & Crab Row.

Crab Row

Located off Santon Head in 25 metres of water. This wreck makes for a pleasant dive with the remains of the wreck scattered around the intact engine and boilers. Many fish patrol the wreck. Nice sealife with plenty of congas. Must be dived only at slack water.

Isle of Man

The Afton Wreck

Loop around the castle (45 min to 1 hour) in 10m of water. There is a very nice Kelp Forest and small caves. The must here is to play with the local seals.

Peel, Western side of Isle of Man. Start behind the food kiosk out on the Breakwater.

Peel Castle & Fenella Beach

Very nice dive with some Seals.
Note: After the dive, have a try on the Groudle Glen Railway :)

Groudle Glen cove, 2 nautical miles north Douglas.
You can start the dive into the river and continue on your left (nort) to the Kelp Forest.

The dive is to follow the base of the Iron Pier, in and out of the under-water structure. The marine life is great with a lot of crustaceans.

The Dolphin few minutes from the end of the pier. This is a concrete structure, not a mammal!

Northern side of the island; Out from Ramsey Beach.

The Glendun sunk near 1940. The wreck is broken in multiple parts. The masterpiece of this dive is the boiler (8-12m).

South of Maughold Head, on the east coast of the Isle of Man.
