Snorkeling and Scuba Diving at Darwin's Arch
Darwin's Arch is consistently voted by Rodale readers to be the best site on the planet for pelagic species and healthy marine environment. Rapid descent through heavy current followed by anchoring yourself in the rocks and watching the show pass you by until you swim out into the blue to swim alongside a whale shark. Cleaning station for huge schools of hammerheads, sometimes hundreds. June-December whale sharks. Galapagos Sharks. Silkies. Black-tips. Huge schools of jack. Angelfish, free swimming morays and more.
Southeast side of Darwin Island. Access is from tender. Conditions can be very choppy.
