USS John C. Butler

Last 75 feet (stern) of the 306 foot destroyer escort depth charge racks on the rear, sunk as a target ship. She received five battle stars for World War II service. When I first dove her this section was intact but Navy Seals have blown much of her up North end of San Clemente Island USS John C. Butler is also known as DD-339.
