Lake Jacossee

I dove this site for my Open Water cert. Since that time I have dove this lake several times. The majority of the time viz, was 15 to 20'. The water is usually calm with very little current. If you visit the dive shop you will find a friendly staff that will give you all the information you will need to make your dive pleasant and enjoyable. Not to mention they can provide any additional gear you may need.

It's an easy entry from the remote boat ramp. Four training platforms, numerous lines to follow to see two small boats, the Bones Family, airplane wing, toilet, etc. Great boat dive on Chinese Junk, or the Graveyard from the movie Deliverance. Chilly water. Low viz if bottom stirred. No facilities. $2 entry per person.
