Pelican's Point

One of the best dive sites in roatan especially when the current is picking you up all along the wall till you end the dive over a nice pletau of corall and you finish the dive somewhere in the blue :-)!
When there's current plenty of fish as big barracudas, eagle rays, sometimes reefsharks, nursesharks and even hammerdead shark have been seen there, green morrey eels, turtles and king krabs, not to forget lots of lobsters! if very lucky whalesharks are possible in the right season!

the only way to access this dive site is by boat, depending on which dive shop you choose it will take  between 10 minutes (from west bay) and 20 minutes (from west end) to go there. Ocean can be choppy and currents can be strong.

Treehouse is also known as Tree House, Willie's Wonder.

Go all the way to the west end of the beach and swim out. The patch reef starts in 4 four feet of water and soon gets you to the wall dropping over 200-feet.  It can also be accessed for free by any diver.

West Bay Beach

nice and easy dive site. Very good for beginners and people who love small fish. there's a nice swimm through as well that starts on a sandy bottom and end on the beginning of the wall. The dive site is quite good for night dives as well. You can axpect to see turtles, octopuss, scorpion fish, juvenile drum fish, barracuda, eagle ray, sting rays, parrot fish, lobsters and much more.

situated just in front of west bay beach in roatan (Honduras). You can reach the dive site by just swimming from shore or you can join one of the many dive schools who bring you there by boat.

"Cara a Cara" in spanish means "Face to face".

The dive with sharks in Cara a Cara is around USD 75 per person (1 dive); briefing (in class) and then dive with the Grey Sharks.

The dive time is around 35 minutes and the DiveMaster gives the sharks a bucket full of fish so the divers can see a live feeding frenzy. A big green moray and some big and domestic groupers too.
Wonderful dive!! If you go to Roatan, you must do this one!
