A outstanding dive site in front of Julia Roberts beach bungalow. Nearly always Manta Rays and Hammerheads can be spotted there, also lots of small reef sharks in the lagoon. Great Dive! 

A good 20 Minute Boat ride from the Levuka Harbour heading east.
Just find the channel in front of the Island, and then dive the reef left hand shoulder until you hit the wall. Have fun!

The Pipeline

This pair of adjacent sites are often dived together.  Grand Central Station is an opening in the lagoon wall where an 80 foot sandy area meets the blue.  Trevally, barracudas, and sharks are often found here.  Redtooth triggerfish are abundant, and both spotted and decorated garden eels are present.  In the center of the area is a wide arch you can swim under that makes a great photo op.  A couple hundred feet south (210 degrees) is a pinnacle known as Kansas, which rises from the sand at 60 feet to within 15 feet of the surface.  The top is covered with Sinularia coral, which looks like a field of wheat swaying in the current.  Lots of great reef fish here, and often an octopus too.

Always dived on an incoming current.  Enter where the channel opens to the open ocean, drift with the current.  Large schools of barracuda and trevally are found near the beginning where the channel is nearly 100 feet deep.  Towards the top of the channel it forks.  Grab a rock at "the bleachers" on the right side of the main channel where it forks to the right.  Hang out here at 60 feet to watch the grey reef sharks circling.  Keep an eye out for hammerheads and manta rays coming through.  Be careful leaving here, as the channel rapidly becomes only 15 feet deep and the current will try to push you shallow quickly.  Check out the lagoon wall which slopes from 15 feet down to hundreds.

The twin pinnacles making up this divesite has a great variety of small reef fish and different corals. don't forget to look around you as sometimes sharks appear in the blue ocean.

Thus there's an exciting possibility to see Bull sharks, Silvertip sharks, Tawny nurse sharks, Gray reef sharks, Blacktip reef sharks, Whitetip reef sharks and sometimes even a huge Tiger shark!
