Timor-Leste

The pier is a great day dive but it is purely magical at night as the pylons are covered in corals that "bloom" at night ranging in colors from crimson orange to iridescent greens.  

Highlights are all kinds of nudiranchs, yellow frogfish, bright crustaceans, and a sea of cabbage like hard corals hiding critters amongst them.  

Com is a 5-6 hour drive from Dili. Just follow the coastal road and eventually you arrive in Com. You cannot miss it. The pier entrance is basically at the end of the road after going through town.  You can either swim out to beyond the pier from the shore or jump from the pier.  The pier may be off limits now due to commercial activity.
