Beautiful site for scuba diving, the best conditions are with this wind, which allows great visibility. Water temperature 18-24°. You can dive on both sides of the "tip of the monkey" depending on wind conditions. There are many sites that leave directly from the beach.

Punta de la Mona

The cars are made of two sunken cars several years ago, there was very good although their forms are covered with sessile organisms and many small fish, rarely can see fish sized moons. The car is deeper to 26.4 meters deep so you have to watch the computer, because it slips easily into deco.

Entre by giant stide from the rocks. Head for the 3 picos (3 peaks) which you can see from the sore (but are belowe the surface). Lots of marine life will be seen. Nice 3D experience and a swim trough.
You can go south and come back to the start point, exit the water by ladder, or go North and head for the beach.

La Herradura Playa is a lovely dive site for both novice and experienced divers. Ideal for course training and try-dives, It is also an ideal spot for testing diving equipment (i.e underwater cameras). There is plenty of marine life to see (view photos) and is also a great site for night diving as well.

It is straight off the beach and involves very little walking.

At a depth of 8 metres off the beach of La Herradura Playa is Damsel's Wreck. It is a small fishing boat that sunk a few months ago. Marine  life has established on the wreck mostly the humble Damselfish. It isn't a super amazing wreck but it is the second discovered wreck inside La Herradura bay.

If you go off of La Herradura Playa on the Western side of the bay, follow the rocky outcrop until you pass these three ma made objects protruding from the seabed.

1. An upside down inboard engine.
2. A car Tyre laying flat
3. A large chain draped over the sea floor and a large rock.

If you have passed these three things then you will be very close to Damsel's Wreck. Continue along the rocky reef's edge until you find the wreck of a small fishing boat. This is Damsel's Wreck.

Damsel's Wreck is also known as Juani Y David Wreck.

Damsel's Wreck

Sandy bottom where the remains of the wreck, then you can see the nearby wall and there you see a good number of fish and marine life. The wreck was a trawling ship, the currents that have been only the frames.

The Candelabra is in the Natural Park of Maro Cerro Gordo, you need permission to dive on the site. The boat out of Marina del Este. The remains of the wreck are poor but you can visit and then go to the wall nearby.
