Ras il Hobz is just across from Fessej rock and is a has not been dived a lot until recently. It is a pinnacle rising out of 50m to approximately 9m sometimes swept by a current. The boat anchors at the top of the pinnacle and the dive is performed by diving to your max depth and ascending in a spiral around the pinnacle. In common with a lot of dive of this type, Jacks and Dentex and free swimming Morays are common sights, Crayfish and crabs are to be found in the cracks, along with various types of corals.

You can reach there even more than 85 m. But the most interesting part is 10m - 25m . There is a little bay on the west side of ras il-hobs with an old slipway where you can make your decostop an easily get out.

By boat or by car. Use paved road east of the sewage treatment plant.
You get to the shore. Walk over the covered canal to the top of the  little peninsula. Here you can get in the water. Ras il-Hobs is just 30 m in front of you in the open sea.
