Very good to see big fishes like groupers. Good to deep diving too. You can see big soft corals like Elisella species and slipper lobsters.
The name of this site it's a tribute to an old lighthouse man who lived for a while on the island. Next to the Baía do Farol, with similar features. The depth starts at 8 meters and grows until 28 meters, next to the limit between the Saco do Vidal and the Baia do Farol. With rare biodiversity, it's the place in where some recently described fishes to the Arvoredo's marine fauna has been saw for the first time. In november and december is easy to find big rays.

The Maraldi is an English ship which ran aground at 21:00 pm on February 28, 1975 on the beach of the 2nd Naval District, Barra, Salvador (BA) due to strong local currents, when he came to Buenos Aires (Argentina) for Amsterdam (Netherlands) carrying a cargo of wool and leather. Today we have dismantled all serves as a haven for countless species of fish and invertebrates as well as being one of the most visited wrecks mergulahdores in Salvador, the Brazilian city with over mergulhaveis shipwrecks on its shores, many of them to duck out the beach, fins, mask and snorkel, as is the case of Maraldi that is less than 80m from the beach.
Access from Avenida Sete de Setembro.
Next to the Lighthouse Bar, down the last ladder to the left (which is a peddler of coconut).
Once on the beach, swim 200 m perpendicular to the beach and soon reach the wreck of Maraldi.
Maraldi is also known as Primeiro Naufrágio.

This site has a fund formed by stones and its average depth is about 16 meters. Is the closest site to the continent of the entire reserve. The visibility is not too good and the diving conditions are almost always bad. The place has almost no shelter and the current is constant. Most of the fauna is represented by big fishes as Meros and Garoupas, passing fishes and big shoals.

One of the better dive sites on the south side of the island. The site starts on the tip of Saco do Capim, near 10 meters deep. The site ends (to the southwest) near 22 meters deep. You can find rest of some wrecks and a great variety of sea life. Is common to see passing fishes like Olhetes, Anchovas ans big shoals. As in many of the Arvoredo's sites, the encounter with turtles are often frecuent too. Being a site further away from the coast, you have to be aware of the currents from north to south.

There's not much to see on this dive site. The visibility is around 2 meters, but can reach 8 meters depending on the day. The dive is very nice for training and equipment testing. If you're lucky, you can find some fresh water fishes like the "Traira". Be careful with boats. The Yatch Club offers a snack bar for some drinking and snacks after diving.
The easiest way to access the lagoon is though the Yatch Club situated at the road BR-040.
It's a good idea to call before going, so you grantee your entrance (price of R$10,00 per person)
The dive can be started from two ramps, and there are no big difference between them.

In the late 60's a fire starts in a cargo vessel heading from Angra dos Reis to Buenos Aires. It has returned to Angra dos Reis but was not allowed into the harbor and was sent to the Aracatiba bay area. Few days later it sunk. Since 2004 penetration is getting more and more risky due to bad conditions of the wreck.

Very interesting dive site. It has a unique under water topology sorted with narrow passages and short caves. It is also common to spot rays. The dive site itself is the submerged rock formation 500~600 meters off the Lage do Coronel. The Parcel is indicated by a navigation buoy and the Lage is indicated by a navigation aid light close to the Angra dos Reis harbor channel.

On this site you can find a big variety of sea life.
There are no fish fishes, but there are always some moray eels, brazilian electric Rays (treme-treme), squids, octopuses and other interesting species like the plagiobrissus grandis.
It's an excelent site for a night dive!
Usually there's no current and visibility is around 5 meters.
It's a good idea to be careful with fishermen in the coast and carry a knife with you so you can cut lines and nets if you need.

This is a small lobster steel which sank in 1986. It has a 10m long and cabin in the bow. It is an excellent diving point, but the water there is not always clean.
In three days of diving observed sandpaper, stingray, turtles, lobsters, morérias and, of course, the sinking in but that is exceptional!
Leaving the port of Fortaleza, 6 km on average.

This site has spectacular marine life! The clouds of fish are just amazing! This site is a reef full of big holes which usually harbour nurse sharks, sting rays, turtles, moray eels, and huge shoals of look downs, and other colorful species.
12 km from the coast of Piran-buzios beach, about a 45 minute boat ride. Depth is between 13 and 18 meters, depending on the tide.

This site is used for student training and first time divers when the pool i s unavailable. Great because of the beach entry, but not much to see! Sandy bottom
Can be accessed by car from the highway. Several entrance points exist, the public beach being the one most used by Caju Divers for students in training.

Excellent and rich diving point in the down south of Bahia state, coral reefs, with many large coral colonies of fire (Millepora sp.) And brain coral (Mussismilia brasiliensis), endemic to the coast of Bahia, as well as several other species of corals, sponges and other animals, as well as reef fish. Trasnparency is good from October to February, the rest of the year you can dive in the pools during the low tide, because the visibility drops to less than 1 meter.
Access by third beach of Morro de Sao Paulo just swim a 50 m toward the small island of Caitá.
Caitá is also known as Terceira Praia.
