The ship wreck Tocantins is a steam ship built in 1908. While shipping wood to Santos from the south of Brazil on August 30th, 1933 in a dense fog it ran into some rocks at Queimada Grande and sank. The ship was 115.5m long and 15.2m wide. With a depth of 8 to 21 meters this is a easy depth.
The wreck is found approx. on the middle of the west-side of the island.

It has usually visibility above 10mt and water temperature above 23oC. Small rays and turtles are frequent visitors. Most commun diving spots are Professora Bay (AKA Saco da Professora) and Paia Bay (AKA Saco do Paia). Also possible to dive, if sea condition are favorable, in Pescadores Island (AKA Ilha dos Pescadores).
Island Vitoria is about 01h30m off Ubatuba city in a fast boat. There are at least three diving centers that dive in the Island in week basis. Google Ubatuba + Mergulho.
