About Us

Divinguru Nilaveli, formerly known as the Original Nilaveli Diving Centre by Hans, is PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Resort, S-23912, PADI Award Winner 2018 for Outstanding Contribution of Diver Education, PADI Green Star Award and 100% Project Aware. We are open everyday from 15th March to 30th October, post which is monsoon, and we shift to south to our diving center Divinguru Unawatuna. We are located at the north east coast of Sri Lanka at the Divinguru Beach Resort directly on the Nilaveli Beach, 12km north of Trincomalee and a few minutes by boat from the famous Pigeon Island. The Pigeon Island is known as the perfect snorkeling spot to see Black Tip Reef Sharks and different species of sea turtles.
