Entry sucks with all the slippery rocks. Though since its in a protected cove, once you make it into the water, there are a few rock walls and caves that are interesting to scope out. Though I haven't had good vis here yet.

This is where I do most my deep dives. I totally love this dive site, and by far is the best site I been to in CA yet. Entry and Exit is by far the suckiest, but the benefits far out way it. Always have great vis here. Be prepared to do the Monastery crawl to get out, though I've been pretty lucky walking out!

Did my first night dive here. Was pretty good diving. Again, crapy parking laws! So beware!

Also know in my group as blackwater beach. Great place for beginners due to the easy access to the beach, and the nice grassy area to rest in between dives. Also, a lot of friendly shops right along coast guard pier with a scuba shop, and a cute little deli. BEWEARE of parking. Monterey seems to be quick at handing out parking tickets to expired parking tickets.
