Have been to several of the quarries in the Indianapolis area and have found this place to have more wildlife than any other of the quarries around. I saw my first Paddlefish and got some pretty decent pics. (http://www.decompstop.com - look in the photography tab for Indiana) They were having a Treasure Hunt that was sponsored by one of the local dive shops and there were 70+ divers in the water. It was pretty stirred up in areas, but where there wasn't alot of traffic, the water was REALLY clear. They have a good bit of mussles (some zebra I think) that keep the water cleared out. Not as many manmade "features" as other places, but they have a bus, a couple of cars and some other things like that. Still couldn't believe all of the fish. There is a nice satellite dive shop at the water entrance and they have inexpensive fills and even a heavy-duty wagon (for $1) to haul you gear from the car to the water's edge. Nice beach area and lots of trees. I never got below 23ft although I heard there is some spots that are a bit deeper.
