Love to Dive's Dive Log

We used to love diving here and camping but unfortunately they allow fishing here on Labor day weekend on until Memorial day now. It use to be a nearby nice small stone quarry to dive in, and my husband even saw a huge paddlefish. Labor day weekend the stone quarry was packed with fisherman. They have a separate fishing pond but they fished it out and now have fished out the stone quarry which used to be just for divers and swimmers. If you go diving here watch out for the fishing hooks and many boats on the quarry. If you go during summer, there are no fishermen but the beach is open to swimmers who stir up the visibility. Still better to go during the summer so you don't get hooked by the many fishermen. It is diving but hardly any fish to see since it has been fished out.
