'EnjoysWater' pretty much nailed it. This is a large site where most local dive shops take their classes, though they do tend to stay shallow. The wall on the right is a great place to spend the afternoon. If you can get in the water for your first dive by 9-10am you should be able to avoid most of the classes. No Showers, but there is a place to hose off gear and a canteen to get food on the summer weekends.

We enjoyed this dive and will go back. It was just the three of us all day except for a couple that lived in the area coming for a quick wall dive before heading to work. We did two dives. The first was a short bottom dive to explore to about 60'. Lots of stars and a few plumose anemones. Second dive was off to the left to a wall that was bottomless. Brittle stars, current, and a sea cucumber stand-off that was mesmerizing. A great place to really get some experience in a very relaxing environment. No facilities at all. Parking on the residential street but there is a great turnaround right at the stairs to the shore.

Loved this spot. Took my certification dive here because the instructors love it so much we took the trip from Vancouver just to see this. I've been back twice since. Yes there are wolf eels. We saw one out of its den on our cert dive. I thought is was an old tire until the instructor tickled it and it swam away. No one had a camera with them. Damn! Very quiet residential cottage area. No facilities but lots of bushes for the boys. I didn't find the creek to be as cold as noted by one reviewer, and I am a wet suit guy. Loads of tube squirts in the cracks of the rocks looks like it snowed in some areas. Awesome Dive spot!!
