Patrick Bridges's Dive Log

My wife & me dove this site in July 2005. We were taken here by car. Our Dive Master from our week of boat diving led this dive for us on a sunny morning. He insisted that we go early morning to avoid the currents that occurs later in the day. On our dive, we saw everything from a model T Ford to a ladder fire truck. The 'car pile' was an average depth of 80' deep. Our max depth was 125'. This is a cool dive site because of all the vehicles, but there is not a lot else to see on this dive. My wife & I dove this site by boat first but we returned by car and five again later in our stay. On both dives at this site, we saw lots of small fish and we got great pictures. I shot video the entire second dive. There were large schools of sardines in and around the tugboat wreck. The schools would engulf you as you swam through them. It was magical seeing all of the fish scales sparkle in the sun light as the fish spiraled towards the waters surface and then back down in and around the wreck site.
