Water was crystal clear, not sure how far we swam, walked down the from the last lifeguard tower about 100 feet before getting in. A lot of boats and kayaks around diving and people getting ready to scuba from the beach. The scuba people told us that where the boats are there was a good reef formation. So I would like to try walking down the beach a little further before getting in next time. Very excited to go again.

Nice couple of shoredives. Take a flag and go way out to the third reef.....maybe a quarter of a mile. Saw big shark.....turtle...barracuda. way out here is still only maybe fifteen feet deep. Take a dive boat to get to deeper water dives in Florida.....

Went on 5/12/14. Air was 84 water was 77 degrees. Surf was knee high with occasional waist breaks. Visibility was 15-30 feet. average depth was 13 feet. We entered directly in front of lifeguard tower by walkway. Went about 175-200 yards out. Plenty of rock formations and small aquatic life. This was my son's and wife's first shore dive. Great place to learn and practice shore diving. Plenty of parking, bathrooms and showers. Deep Six dive shop is only 15 minutes away.

The conditions were poor this day. In the past they were much better. No lobster were found.
