Went on 11/1/14 at 3:30 pm. The Air temp was 78, water was 81. Light surf, with wind coming off shore. Entered on North side of pier. Very fast moving current once we were out at buoy. Ended up past second buoy on South side of pier. Got a good work out! Lots of coral, small fish, and a small ray. Found lots of trash, fishing line, and lead sinkers. Visibility started good at about 40', ended up at about 20' due to increasing current. Great shore dive location overall.

Went on 5/12/14. Air was 84 water was 77 degrees. Surf was knee high with occasional waist breaks. Visibility was 15-30 feet. average depth was 13 feet. We entered directly in front of lifeguard tower by walkway. Went about 175-200 yards out. Plenty of rock formations and small aquatic life. This was my son's and wife's first shore dive. Great place to learn and practice shore diving. Plenty of parking, bathrooms and showers. Deep Six dive shop is only 15 minutes away.

Went here to dive while my children did their 1st open water dive during their scuba class. There is a camp near the first curve that gives you access to the lake. You will have to sign a waiver and pay $10.00 donation to the church that runs the camp. There are bathrooms and showers. They also provide a fresh water hose to rinse gear. Usually they sell chips and soda as well. The visibility is about 10-12 feet. Saw a few fish. There is also a cool navigation course you can do with the several items placed under water. Go early. The lake gets murky with all of the divers training there. You will also need a dive flag! The water was 81 degrees on 6/2/13.
