Your diving area will be from here to the left of the island.. If you find no parking by the water's edge, there is a large upper parking lot. Read and Heed!

My Wife and I went for a dive for the first time here . It was a very nice dive . Viz was nice but the plant life was not there but a lot of fish and empty sea shells and one horse that someone planted in the water along time ago .

Viz was amazing, entered along the boat ramp side swam out to the far end and down. Headed away from the rock down to 92ft looking for more of the reef but found nothing. Explored around the rock, max depth was around 60ft, no luck with octos or wolfeels. But nice shallow dive with no real concerns for surf or current. Nice for one dive

My wife and I and a few friends made the drive from Vancouver to dive the Green. The vis from 0'-25 was horrible and full of bloom, but below that was 100'+. Lots of life and beautiful clear water. Two truly wonderful dives. The facilities are superb, as well.

Dove Coopers today - Weather conditions sunny and warm. Easy entry out to left side of the island. Visibility was 25 ft even in shallows where there were schools of perch & many of moon jellies. Saw lots of kelp / painted greenlings, black eyed gobies and rockfish. Several neudibranch including leopard dorid, Giant dendronotid and red flabellina. Plus we spotted two octopus including the resident one that can be found consistently at ~60 feet in a large vertical cracks in the wall right before you reach the sandy slide area. Facilities are good with washrooms on site, picnic tables and a hose for you to rinse gear.

This is an easy dive, located just a few minutes outside of Sechelt. The best stuff I found was around the large rock - anenomies, nudibrancs, fish, etc can all be found here. Dive bottoms out at about 70'. Overall, the life isn't as dense or big as it is at other sites in the area. This is probably a good site for octopi - we saw ample evidence of their work - but they eluded us during our dive. This is a great dive for beginners - protected, not too deep, easy entry, and easy navigation. Intermediate and advanced divers will find this an easy, but interesting dive. Probably the most attractive feature of this site is the on-shore facilities - bathrooms, a rinse hose, volleyball net and tables make this a good place for a picnic. Bring the family and a BBQ, and make a day of it…

Nice very gentle dive with small city animation for the ocean. Quite cute with very subtle marine detail and some fun fish.

Just came back from Cooper's Green today, Feb. 8. Good vis. for area [varies across areas/depths 15-30ft.] esp. good near rock and below 25'. Not too many fish or crustaceans at this time of year. Plant life [primarily kelp, eel grass] is also subdued . Good variety of small to medium size invertebrate life spread out around rock.

This is a small site but it is equipped with certain niceties like a change-room. Parking is close to the water and access to the beach is easy. Went on a weekday so the crowds weren't too bad. Saw lots of marine life. All in all, one of the better sites for beginners like myself. I was only slightly disappointed that the site was so small.

It's a great site in winter. During the summer plankton blooms, and viz can drop substantially... You don't have to go deep at all!!! 20 feet and you're in marine city heaven! Tons of nudibranch (even hooded ones!), dead-man finger sponges, etc... Great for beginner dives. At the tip of the rock, it gets much deeper. Never went to the bottom, but I was about 80 feet last time, so you can make it a deeper dive... Rumored to have octopus and wolf-eels there...

Perfect dive if you like to see wildlife!

great site. no wet gear in washrooms please, there are portapotties for wet people. lots of life several octopi and even wolf eels.
