Paguro

Wreck of a gas drilling offshore platform, exploded and sunken at the end of September 1965. Since then, the wreck has become an artificial reef that collects a plenty of marine life and in 1995 has been declared biological protected area by the government. Top of the structures are at -9m and bottom is at -33m. Dive conditions may vary, as the wreck lies 13 miles off Ravenna harbour. Recommended diving season is from spring to autumn, but best is July/August, when the water is warmer and generally there is a better visibility. Ravenna.
