VERY BEAUTIFUL SMALL ISLAND WITH 4 TUNNELS, WHERE YOU CAN DIVE THROUGH IT. TUNNELS ARE WIDE AND LONG FROM FEW METERS TO 20 METERS IN DEPTH BEETWEEN 3 AND 16M.  WITH ADDITIONAL SMALL CAVES AND WALLS. MAX DEPTH 26M. VERY GOOD FOR BEGGINERS, NIGHT DIVES,SNORKELING.

There is an arc about 80-100 meters from the car park in NW direction along the coast line. Better to swim to the place.

Still not clear if this is the wreck of the "ISTRA" or "HANS SCHMIDT"

Many details indecates, that this seems to be the "HANS SCHMIDT"
The "HANS SCHMIDT" was build 1920 first named "ALBIREO" for the Van Nievelt, Goudriaan & Co shipping company in Rotterdam. She was 113,1m long, 15,3m wide with 4427 BRT.

On the 24th of January 1943 she hit a mine and sank to the ground off Pula. There is no more data, that can be found regarding this ship.

Very interesting wreck with a lot of fish, often that much, that it´s hard to take photos. She is standing upright, the bow broke of with a little distance to the rest of the ship. Penetrating is possible. Outstanding photo motive!
