"Aries", a freighter of 47 meters of length and 392 tons of gross registry, was constructed in 1946 in reconstructed Santander and in 1974 in the coruñeses shipyards "Jose Valiña Lavandeira". Their crew composed 7 sailors of Eases, Corme and Camelle, with ages between the 17 and 58 years, and a called dog "Johnson". At dawn of the 7 of December of 1977, the "Aries" reached the entrance of laughs it of Arousa in adverse metereológicas conditions, that had forced to moor the fishing fleet of Ribeira. At the moment the "Aries" rest on a sand bottom in the proximities of the Island of Rúa (42º33.773´N 8º56.836´W), to a Maxima depth of 21 meters, in an acceptable state of conservation.
