In the north of the island Hvar, right in front of a stony reef with many small caves, a long field with old amphoras stretches along depths of 12m to 28m. The amphoras belonged to a Greek ship that ran aground and lost its cargo. Now they offer shelter to many fish. The neighboring seagrass-fields on the other hand are home to many sea-slugs.

The ship operated during WW I under the flag of the Austro-Hungarian Empire as a passenger's ship. In the morning of May 9, 1916 it was hit by two torpedoes of a French U-boat operating under Italian flag. It sank almost immediately, causing the death of 11 people. 27 people could be saved. The ship, with a length of 51m, had a cargo hold of 480 tons.
The bottom of the wreck lies upright on its keel at a depth of 56m. The two torpedoes caused the ship to now rest in two parts on the bottom of the sea. These two parts are well preserved and make for an interesting dive. Due to the depth, the wreck is ideal for technical dives, such as Rebreather or Entry-Level-Trimix. The best time to dive to the Dubrovnik is from April to May and from September to October.

Approximately two and a half hours by boat from Tucepi, between the island Hvar and the peninsula Peljesac, lies the wreck of the steamboat Dubrovnik.

With its stony reefs, Selce has to offer to very beautiful and exciting dive spots. Down to 35m, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the small caves, notches and holes, and the animals occupying them. Among them are congereels, scorpionfish, and undulate rays.

Several kilometers south of the town of Tucepi, underground springs nourish the sea with fresh water from the Biokovo mountains. This constant supply leads to a speciose dive site with many fascinating colors and plenty of opportunities to explore a rich underwater world.

A dive site for everybody. Rookies, as well as experienced divers will enjoy their dives there. The marine life ranges from large schools of small fish typical for the Adriatic sea, to crabs, golden sponges and octopus.
There is one large rock with a length of about 30m. It ranges from depths of 1m down to beyond 25m.



Kamena

After a descent at the anchor rope you will find two large rocks at depths ranging from 18m to 33m. These reefs are home to sea hares, octopi, and large schools of fish, as well as many other marine animals.

This dive site lies north of Tucepi in the open sea.

Supljaca

Nugal is a long stretched beach north of Tucepi, including three different dive spots. All three are characterized by drop-offs with depths ranging from 12m to 40m with reefs full of marine life. Large schools of small fish, octopi and sometimes even sea-horses can be found here.

In 1956 a Greek cargo ship smuggled cigarettes into Croatia. It was caught  and confiscated in Ploce by the Yugoslavian Coast Guard. The crew was arrested. After a flight attempt, the ship was sunk by the Coast Guard about 1 sea-mile away from Makarska. All sailors survived and were arrested. The bottom of the wreck lies upright on its keel at a depth of 60m. Due to the depth, the wreck is ideal for technical dives, such as Rebreather or Entry-Level-Trimix. The best time to dive to the wreck is from April to May and from September to October.



Oseava Wreck

Purple bay consists of four drop-offs, each of them a separate dive site. The rough walls with their many holes and notches are home to a wide variety of marine plants and animals, such as scorpionfish, sea fans, gold sponges and many more. If you're lucky you can even see the spotted dogfish there, which is very impressive with it's length of approximately 1.20m.
