The wreck of Edith lies today broken in two pieces, where the bow of the ship is the shallowest part, at a depth of approx. 23 to 33 meters depth. The deeper part goes from 35 to 72 metres. The wreck is beginning to deteriorate, so penetration is only recommended for well trained wreck divers.

Sometimes there is buoy on the bow part of the wreck. 

DS Edith

Vertical wall with some overhangs. There is susaly a tidal current here, going either out or in the fjord. this ensures a good marinelife. some place the wall is completely covered soft corals.



Kaholmen Øst is also known as Oscarsborg, Karholmen Øst.

Kaholmen Øst

This is the western end of an old underwater fortification, which comes ashore on the west-side of the fjord (See divesite Muren).



Muren vest

This is a nice spot close to Oslo. This wall was built to redirect ship traffic within range of the torpedo battery at Oscarsborg fortress. Worked very well at Blücher during WWII...

The wall is partly open for smaller ships, and you should be aware of the current when the tide is rising/falling. Divers have died here... 

The spot is easy  to find, and you'll have no problem parking.

The wall is grown with anemones, and occasionally, you may see lobsters.

Lots of Metridium senile and tru the summer it many Pollachius virens at nigh time and some Homarus gammarus.



Muren is also known as Jetéen.

Muren

The bottom is quickly sloping out into the fjord, but the most interesting is to follow the wall north at about 18-20 metres, and coming back at 8-12 metres, ending the dive in the smal bay behind the kiosk. There can be some current her so take that into consideration, or you will have a tough swim back. Excellent marine life here for marco photography.

Park the car at the lot, and go the right side of the helipad/pier, behind the kiosk to enter the water. 

Helikopterplassen

There is often some current here so its a nice drift dive. Start approx. 50-70 meters south or north depending of the current, where there are shallows at 3-7 meters. The bottom rapidly falls into the fjord, with vertical drop-off. 

The main dive site is along the east side of the islet. 

Storskjæret

Sloping off from beach to great depths in the middle of the Oslo Fjord. Nice walls and plateaus to the north, with fish, lobsters, starfish and sea urchins. 

Also interesting plant life. Anemone garden on platou at 12 meter depth, north of beach.

Old ferry terminal to the south.

Easy access, beach just 10m from free parking. Benches to sit on. Really in the centre of the town Drøbak, all shops within walking distance. Guest harbour 500m away.

Pumpehuset

Go out from the beach and follow the left. 
Here is a small tube wiring that can be worth noticing that you can find on the way back. 
Here's to begin with mud, but you get to the more rocky bottom and up the mountain toward the surface the more left you go around the headland. 
  Follow a little further beyond, and you come to a low wall at 10 to 22 meters deep. follow the wall down to about 22 feet and hold the left through the canyon and follow the wall up on opposite side. You come to a big rock a little further up and where you can select to cross back or continue a little bit more along the "wall" before you cross and go back. 
After you have crossed the "muern" as the d deep a period again but follow the depth you're on so then you'r coming to a plateau and then hold the "shallow" Side on your right side and you will get easy back to the beach again.



Fagertun Båstø

Storsand is a promontory buildt with large rocks where kelp and anemones thrive. You might even find ballan wrasse and lobsters in between the rocks. Make sure to bring your knife to cut them loose as they often get tangeled in fishing lines. 

You will find the wreck of a old truck at 12 meters. 

Easy access to the beach with a good sandy bottom that makes it perfect to do some pranks under water without swirling up too much silt. Hence popular place for training of new divers.
