Amid the Lausitz, near Kamenz is the large-scale quarry site. Nestled between forest and pieces of rock dumps will open to the boiler water. About a steel staircase leads to the entrance.
The approximately 60 times large lake is 120m deep ca.28m, the water rises still. The average depth is about 12m, there is a road, big rock dumps and deeper mines under water, so no "empty, flat terrain.
