Kuda Kandu

This is a dive that begins on a reef top that lies at a depth of 5m and is covered with many sea fans and some massive foliaceous corals harbouring a multitude of reef life. The usual offenders are here such as Napoleon wrasse, clown fish, grouper and triggerfish, but this time they are accompanied by nudibranches of all shapes, colour and size! As you move over the edge of the plateau and onto the reef edge, you will find a few caves and overhangs at depths of 16m -20m which are teeming with life. While exploring the reef edges, it pays to keep a lookout into the open ocean as a diver will frequently see a number of eagle rays or whitetip reef sharks silently passing by, followed by schools of barracuda.
