Snorkeling and Scuba Diving at S.M.S. STREITER Wreck
The wreck of the K.u.K. Austro-Hungarian Destroyer STREITER. Built in 1905/06 in Trieste; 115t, 46m long, 4.6 m wide, 21-man crew.
On 04/16/1918 the steamer PETKA collided with S.M.S. STREITER and sank him off Lovran.
The wreck is very deep, with poor visibility, lots of fishing nets and mud sunk. Penetration into the wreck seems impossible. Due to the construction and age, strong symptoms of decay.
S.M.S. STREITER Wreck is also known as S.M.S. Zerstörer Streiter.
