Andrew Miller 2's Dive Log

We actually stayed at the Lighthouse Beach Resort in a condo. I highly recommend doing that since you have a dive site on premises to go whenever you want. I did not experience any of the conditions mentioned here previously. It was very easy to enter with not much current. I guess it depends on when you visit the site. It is one of the few places that actually has a beach on the whole island of Bonaire so that was nice for the wife to enjoy while I dove. The site is typical of the southern sites in that you can dive them in the afternoon whereas the northern sites tend to get a little blown out.

This was one of the best sites on the island. I made the leap a few times even after coming out of the water. It's a lot of fun to jump in as long as there are no incoming divers! I saw an octopus in 10' of water just snorkeling to the north of the ladder. My wife commented that she thought she could take up SCUBA diving after snorkeling there. She has previously been afraid of the water but this site was so welcoming that she felt she could take the plunge. The water in the shallows benefits from not having the sand to be stirred up at the shoreline so it is extremely clear in shallow water.
