Went to this site because it was recommended as an easy entry. The entry is pretty easy but you do have to watch out for the many spiny urchins. The ramp down from the road was impassable so we drove down to the Hilma Hooker site and then back up to The Lake below the road-- no problem. This probably helped make it so deserted, we never saw anyone else there. This was our favorite site on Bonaire, we dove it about 5 times in one week, twice at night. The double reef system is so beautiful here and the life so plentiful and varied we couldn't get enough of it. We saw lots of flounder, mostly peacocks, and several types of sea cucumbers, basket stars, needlefish, rockfish, many eels, Spanish lobsters, and the list goes on forever. Visibility was great and there is lots of life in the shallows to see while taking your safety stop.

Our small group went to The Invisibles twice, once on a boat dive, and once on a shore dive. We thoroughly enjoyed it both times and highly recommend it. Lots of life including a colony of garden eels in only 20 feet of water right under the mooring buoy as well as another larger colony at about 80 feet in the sand valley between the double reefs. Pristine coral conditions and abundant life made this one of our favorite spots.
